About me:
My epitaph will be that I was never bored. I was born on the farm and my parents believed everyone pulled their own weight. We milked cows until I was in high school so getting up at 5 AM was routine. We "walked beans"; baled hay and "detassled corn" in the summer. We often rode our bikes to town to go swimming when the work was done. We learned if you worked hard and fast you got to play, so we did. Mom and Dad were tough but a lot of fun and they taught us to love and respect each other. Loving unconditionally was the greatest gift they gave us.
I had a job since I was 12 years old and bought most of my own clothes and when I got my drivers license I was expected to buy my own gas. Someone told Dad once I was "peeling rubber" with the car so he made me pay for the new tires. I never mistreated a car again! He was there for me though, when I was in trouble he always stood in front of me, if he could, but always at my side!
In my life I have been an executive with R. G. Dickinson's Stock Brokerage; a full time farm wife; a mother; a 4-H leader; a soccer coach; a basketball coach; a mediator; a farm activist; a lobbyist; and a grandma. I have done everything from driving anything you could find on a farm to teaching myself to run a computer. I always seem to have something to do and can never understand when I hear people say they are bored or just don't know what they are going to do on the weekend. I get up everyday and say, "Ok God, what shall we get done today off this list." And He guides me through the day and when I go to bed I always say "Thank you, Lord. We had quite a busy day today!" Nope, I am never bored and I am totally blessed.

Cindy - As a founding Member of Rodeo Attitude.com I look forward to learning more about Rodeo Pages. This reminds me of how it was ten years ago when you asked me what my e-mail address was. What is a e-mail address. Where did the ten years go ?
Keep it Extreme.

Cindy (Mom) you've been my guiding light and inspiration. I know we might disagree now and then yet what mother daughters don't? I know I would not be the person I am today with out your discipline and encouragement through the years. Mothers are splendid people they are giving wisdom to pass along to anyone who will listen, and with RA you have helped out not just your children yet all of Rodeo. Many people live better lives for what you've done. You look out and protect everyone in the industry so with that you are considered not just my mom although more you are the… “Mom of Rodeo.”
